The 18V Metabo NIV 18 LTX BL 1.6 Cordless BRUSHLESS 16 Gauge Nibbler is German engineered and manufactured for durability, safety, and productivity. The powerful brushless motor technology paired with a high-quality cutter head produce a maximum cutting speed of 8.5 ft/min and allows for distortion-free and spark-free cuts in up to 16-gauge sheet metal without the annoyance of metal dust. The variable speed dial at the back of the tool allows for cutting speeds to be adjusted infinitely to achieve higher accuracy specific to each material. The cornering ability for notches and interior cut-outs result in precision work with a smallest curve radius of 1-9/16”. For convenience and efficiency, the nibbler features tool-free adjustment of the cutting direction by up to 360°, in 45° step increments; it also features the M-Quick system for tool-free quick changing of die and punch. Additional features include a die-cast aluminum gear housing that stabilizes the high-quality cutting mechanism to ensure precision, durability and efficient power transmission; slim grip for maximum comfort, as well as electronic overload protection to significantly increase the tool’s service life. The package contains a chip collection bag, punch, die, combination wrench, and case.
